Lalish Valley:The holy place of the Yezidi located in Northern Iraq, about 33 miles east of Duhok city.

The Sinjar Mountain: Also Shingal\Shengar Mount‎ain are a 100 kilometers (62 mi)-long east –west trending mountain range that rises to an elevation of 1,463 meters (4,800 ft) and above the surrounding alluvial steppe plains in northwestern Iraq. The highest segment, which is about 75 kilometers (47 mi) long, of these mountains lies in Nineveh Governmorate, currently partly administered by the Iraqi Kurdistan. The western and lower segment of these mountains lies in Syria which is about 25 kilometers (16 mi) long
